  • mathematical biology and bioinformatics
  • microbiology.

The Centre has two Dissertation Councils for doctoral and master’s theses in biochemistry, microbiology and biotechnology.

The Centre carries out activities aimed at raising awareness of students and school pupils in the framework of the scientific and educational project “Manpower for Bioengineering”, participates in the organization of the All-Russian forum for young scientists “Step into the Future” and holds the section “Systems Biology and Biotechnology“.

The Council of young scientists at the Centre represents the interests of young researchers and organizes scientific seminars, workshops, competitions and open days. Awareness-raising activities include excursions for training pupils of specialized general education institutions. The Centre runs annual competitions for young scientists.
